High School Diploma or GED required.

Equipment Maintenance Experience Required
Basic knowledge (2-3 years of experience preferred) related to
industrial electrical, industrial (purge) welding, industrial plumbing (thread
pipe), hydraulics, and pneumatics. 

A pre-employment drug screen and physical are required.

Purpose:  To assure the daily, safe, efficient and effective operations of all plant equipment, machinery, vehicles and plant facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures.  To assist in construction and repair of production and building facilities. 

 

  • Follow the established preventative maintenance program for plant machinery, equipment, utilities and grounds to assure safe and efficient operation in accordance with state, federal and company policies and procedures.
  • Inspect, test, adjust, repair and maintain all plant machinery including heating, cooling, piping, and electrical system.
  • Record maintenance, inspection tests, and repairs in a work log book.
  • As directed by the supervisor, construct and repair walls, floors, ceilings, cabinets and furniture.
  • Maintain a maintenance parts inventory system; replace small parts as needed. Provide periodic inventory reports to management.
  • Implement a thorough housekeeping program for the maintenance area, including washing, cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment in accordance with established procedures.
  • Repair or replace broken, defective or malfunctioning parts and components.
  • Troubleshoot repairs/malfunctions as they occur in areas of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and vehicle breakdown. Notify appropriate supervisory staff of problems beyond the scope of internal repairs.
  • Operate company vehicle, as required.

Job Qualifications

Education:   High School Diploma or GED   

 

Experience: Equipment maintenance/operator experience required

                  Basic knowledge (2-3 years of experience preferred) related to industrial electrical, industrial (purge) welding, industrial plumbing (thread pipe), hydraulics, and pneumatics.                                                 Job requires use of hand tools, various power tools, grinders, drills, drill presses, and measuring tools.  Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved.  

 

Other:         Valid Driver’s License                                                       

 

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of indeustrial (purge) welding
  • Knowledge of pumps, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Basic knowledge related to:  Electrical, Plumbing, Metal fabrication, Boiler, Refrigeration (ammonia)
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other industrial equipment such as welders, hand wrenches, power tools and a cutting torch
  • Ability to use cranes, trucks, hoists, winches, bobcat and other equipment
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and record data from various gauges
  • Basic analytical ability to determine appropriate required maintenance procedures
  • Ability to learn/understand simple wire diagrams, construction plans and diagrams
  • Knowledge and ability to implement all safety techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Ability to remain calm and professional
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to drive a vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to interpret and work from oral and written instructions
  • Ability to assist in other work related areas as required
  • Ability to work daily and overtime as required
  • Responsible to assure the products manufactured at DaPro LLC/Boyer Valley Company are safe and meet the customer’s quality standards
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals in order to work on equipment and controls
